Actualité - Israel Intensifies its Aggression of Lebanon

Beirut, Aug 13 (Prensa Latina) - Israel"s Air Force and Navy bombed the southern part of the Lebanese capital on Sunday, in spite of the government of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert approved the UN 1701 resolution on Lebanon.

It is estimated that 9 Lebanese civilians were killed by the fierce Israeli air strikes on Saturday, while Beirut"s Al Rwei neighbourhood was hit by the Tel Aviv"s Navy attacks.

More than 1000 Lebanese people have been killed and thousands wounded since the beginning of the Israeli aggression of its neighboring country on July 12.

Tel Aviv insists that heir military offensive against Lebanon is aimed at rescuing two of its soldiers captured by Hezbollah militia.

Israel carried out Sunday attacks despite its government approved a UN Security Council resolution for a cease-fire to the hostilities against Lebanon
