Gaza Jul 26 (Prensa Latina) - Almost 60 Palestinian civilian of the Gaza Strip were victims on Wednesday of the Israeli military offensive called Operation Summer Rainy, which began a month ago.
The Voice of Palestine issuer reported that 14 Palestinian died, among them two children, and 40 were hurt during the Army manoeuvres that used dozens of tanks, armoured-plated vehicles and road-rollers.
The source reported that the tanks opened fire against the district of Al Shaaf , area densely populated and killed six people, among them one girl of three years. With anteriority it was reported that the aviation bombed the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army reiterated on Wednesday that will continue with the military escalation against the Palestinian town, where more than 160 people died and other 600 were hurt.
Operation Summer Rainy, which received the repudiation of the international community, began on June 26 by Tel Aviv with the pretext of rescuing a soldier captured by the resistance.
