Actualité - Iran Offers Cooperation with IAEA
Vienna, Apr 28 (Prensa Latina) - Iran proposes to deliver a cooperation plan to the International Atomic Energy Agency, said a report presented by IAEA Director Mohamed el Baradei Friday here.
The document said that Tehran makes its proposal to IAEA, if IAEA takes charge of supervising Iran"s implementation, instead of the UN Security Council, and that this topic not be discussed in the Council.
According to Iranian news agency IRNA, Iran will present a program for collaboration within three weeks, although this information is not still official.
El Baradei"s report informed that Iran limited its cooperation with the nuclear watchdog agency, and was far from postponing processing of uranium, as the UN Security Council demanded on March 29.
Tehran has denied the US accusations of a possible attempt to develop weapons of mass destruction, the principal argument by Washington in fabricating objections to Iran´s nuclear development.
Diplomatic sources report that Washington, London and Paris intend to present a new resolution to the Security Council against Iran.
